Library

University library was established only three years after the very establishment of the University. During the recent war, Library was not working and in 1993 library building was burned down together with the entire library holdings.

 

Library started working again in academic year of 1996/97 and the books were mostly donations.

 

Today library has around 31.000 books and the library holdings is purchased according to faculties’ curricula.

 

In May 2005, the Library won the status of NATO deposit library and became a member of NATO library network for southeastern Europe.

 

In 2007 library became a member of Bosnia and Herzegovina Virtual Library.

 

Library activities include organization of book promotions, exhibition of monograph publications of university professors and other events.
